about

James Guffey, aka Guff, was born and raised in Riverside, CA. A freelance recording/mixing engineer, he's 1/4 of the Sleepwalkers, a production team based out of Los Angeles, who has produced songs for the Clipse, Wale, Marsha Ambrosius, Paul Wall and Murs among many others. Sleepwalkers released their first independent album, “The Edward Norton LP,” in 2011 (www.sleepwalkers.fm).

Paul Schneider, aka Bones of Ghosts, is from Brighton, UK, and presently lives in Los Angeles. While he's played in bands since he was a teen, has been in love with beats since a young child. He also creates House music under the guise 'Knifey' and has further production projects being released later this year.

The Pursuit

The two main characters are Guff and Paul. Paul made all of the beats on the album and lent his vocals for the hooks, and Guff handled most of the lyrics (with the exception of “Babyy,” which was one of Paul's songs that Guff bullied his way onto). Curtis Thomas performs on “Stay For A While” and "Reality Check," Stephen Breuhaus (Sleepwalker) added the guitar on “Falling Down” and Matt Kipper (Sleepwalker) contributed the artwork.
